Just bought my first AR-15 last week. My gun collection is small but it's a start. It consists of.
1. Savage .17 HMR 2. Remington 700 SPS .300 Win Mag Leupold VX3 scope 3. Sig Sauer 516 Gen 2 AR-15 and Sig red dot http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn63/keeno1970/sig1_zps599d85d9.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn63/keeno1970/sig2_zpsb7c1d57f.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn63/keeno1970/guns4_zps15e67232.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn63/keeno1970/guns3_zps0630c5d3.jpg The .17 is super accurate at 100 yards. The .300 Win Mag is a canon with a ferocious kick more suited for Elk and grizzly. But without a doubt the most fun to shoot is the AR-15 |
| Great looking start, they seem to multiply rather quickly. Welcome to the board, tons of information around here, don't be afraid to use that search button. There is a pretty substantial archive where you will find more information on anything and everything, lol. |

I'm really digging the Sig.
I like that grip, do you know who the manufacturer is? While building my last AR I found a couple grips that aren't often mentioned, but looked nice and one was relatively cheap for a well designed ergonomical grip. It was so obscure that even the lists people make comparing grips wouldn't list it. I can't remember who was selling it now I would like to have one like the grip on your Sig however. Also, any idea who manufactures the red dot?

it's safe to say that you're fucked now say goodbye to having money what the hell, i'll start... did you know that you can have garands shipped straight to your front door? http://www.odcmp.com/Sales/m1garand.htm that AR is pretty loud, is it not? you can fix that http://www.silencershop.com/support/how-to-buy-a-silencer that should keep you busy for a second or two but you also need a handgun now, might I suggest a nice 1911 |

Rate The New Guy,® by Echo_Hotel:
1. Knows how to use capital letters. 2. No intentional use of ebonics. 3. Probably has enough motivation to type the word "probably." 4. Uses the word "consist" (which, these days, indicates higher than average I.Q. Let's face it: the bar is a lot lower than it was 50 years ago). 5. Southerner/lives in Dixie (indicates he's not a Yank, or, at worst, is a recovering Yank). 6. Has lots of expensive guns, which indicates he's rich, which indicates he made better choices in life than me. Pretty much self-explanatory. O.k. So far I like you fine. Not that I'm anybody, but I have standards. |
