I was reading Paul Krugman's latest groan-inducing column when I noticed something very strange; it wasn't the usual hatchet job on Bush. How odd. Then I noticed something else, it was mostly him griping about how the other dwarves are all ganging up on Dean, and this helps Bush. Was I reading this correctly? Was Paul Krugman breaking new ground at last after 3 years, and actually criticizing DEMOCRATS?!?! Sure he wasn't criticizing their platforms, stance on issues, or anything substantive, just the usual harping from the sidelines. But the mere fact he had something even remotely critical to say about a Democrats is definitely a first for Krugman. |
