Been cleaning out my Moms house getting ready for the estate sale next weekend. Came across my Dads Hamilton Standard Propeller. I know he had from at least 1972. It is much older then that i think.

i know these are worth some good money. Anybody know where i could get some pricing guidance?

Details are important . I have a small propeller here at the house . It has been tough to sell . It is only 68 inches and would be a pain to ship

I have a propeller, it's about 6 feet and made of wood. How much is it worth?
Will it work on a jet?

I have a piece of wood that can be turned into a propeller. What is it worth?

There should be some information engraved on it, probably on or near the hub. A part number (P/N) might give us a clue as to what kind of plane it is meant for. If it has FAA paperwork with it, it might be worth a lot. If not, it is most likely a wall-hanger.

Have you put it on a treadmill ?

Make sure you clean it properly to restore it's original luster, instead of just using some 409 or other crap on it.  Hamilton-Standard prop wash, you should be able to find it at any airport

After cleaning, be sure to secure it with some flight line.  This can also be found at any airport.

Hamilton-Standard made scads of props, of numerous designs.

What you're asking is akin to my stating- "I have a 12 gauge pump shotgun, what is it worth?"

$87

Any paperwork?
yellow tag on it?
Generally speaking  without much information and no paperwork,$500-1200 for a wall hanger, model dependant.
The right prop with paperwork, much more.....
