IIRC since you'd be starting with a regular shotgun it'd be considered a Short Barreled Shotgun afterwards ($200 Tax stamp for transfer), with or without a stock. If it came from the manufacturer with the short barrel & no stock it'd be an Any Other Weapon (with a $5 transfer tax) & could not legally have a stock. |

is the 60mm ammo readly available yet? ETA: that's length, not caliber folks link EPOCH |
So if I SBR it I CAN remove the stock?
Ha ha, no. I plan on NOT selling both my cars for a gun for the moment. With the tax stamp, an SBR'd Mag-7 shouldn't cost me more than $500 or so, judging from the prices they go for on Gunbroker. |
It's not an AR-15 and they're manufactured in a country we no longer import from. I want one before the prices go up. It'd be an awesome range toy. |
