Who hear has the coordinates (DMS) to the former Soviet Union nuclear weapons test site at Semipalantinsk? Found the city, haven't found the site yet. Merlin |

Look around 49, 56, 46 N - 78, 58, 13 E. I don't know what layer I have activated but it shows blue lower case "i" and "USSR Nuke: with a number in that area. Looks to be 40-50 sites. Ok, In the layers menu under Keyhole Community BBS check "military" in the menu and it shows all military related sites. Pretty cool. |

If you're asking how to get to the "Keyhole Community BBS", click on "Tools", then "Layers"; Keyhole will be the second down, click on the arrow, not the box, "Military" will be about 8 down or so. If you're wern't asking that, sorry. I found out that the coords I gave earlier for Desert One are not the site. Still haven't found, nor does a Google advanced search find it either. I've read that it's "200 miles SE of Tehran" but that's about it. Still looking for it. I want to know if a) the place is marked and b) are there any aircraft remains left. Thanks, Merlin |
