The wife and I are buying a new house soon. We just signed the offer and should be moving in at then end of June. The house we are buying has a kick ass man cave! I'll have a wet bar, fridge, microwave, entertainment center...it'll be awesome. The current owners have a pool table in the back half of the room. I tried to get them to include it, but they had promised it to one of their kids. But it got me thinking, maybe I should put a game room there! So I'm thinking of buying a pinball machine, a slot machine, and maybe an arcade game or two. Of course this will be a little while before I can afford these things, but I like planning ahead. Plus all the kids will want to hang out a Killswitch Jr's house because his dad has arcade games! Good idea, eh? |
I just think they are cool. The old one armed bandits, not these new video slots crap. My uncle had an old penny slot machine and I would play with it for hours so I guess I'm a little nostalgic about them |
How about a Pachinko machine? www.pachislo.com/pachinko/index.html |
Yup, I was thinking about one of those too. |

Our house in Farmington had a man cave I put up my 61 inch TV with surround sound and one of the huge love sacs plus a huge soft couch. Why get arcade games when you can get game consoles and hook it up to a massive TV with surround sound. I could totally slob out in my love sack with the speakers turned up and play either Ps3 or Xbox360 games until I got sores on my ass. I also had my kick bag, bow flex machine and bow flex free weights there so when I felt nasty I could go over work out beat the crap out of my kick bag and go back to being a slob. Go high tech arcade games while fun take up too much room cost too much for basically old school stuff. |
Half of the basement is unfinished, so I still have that option. However I will probably just build a gun room and have a nice Liberty or Fort Knox safe put in for fire protection. |
I'll have that too. I just like nostalgic old games and pinball. |
I'll keep my eye out for that one. |

Indoor shooting range. But seriously get a billards table - we have a reasonably priced Olhausen - you'll regret getting a cheap table if you go the billiards route. Put at least a 50" Plasma in there, and maybe a nice corner aquarium to make the cave have life. Good luck in your new home! |
The same way he's buying a motorcycle, or a new $1500 pistol, or a ton of pricey shit for his new man cave, or....... The wifey doesn't make enough to pull it all off, methinks. |
I've decided to not get the motorcycle, at least not until my kids are grown up. I really don;t need anymore guns, so I decided against that. I should have a new job lined up soon. I've only bee without a job for a couple of weeks. Of course I won't be able to buy all of this at one time, but I can certainly afford it one piece of a time. Oh, and thanks for taking the time out of your busy life to come bash me and bring your negativity in yet another one of my threads. |
You're welcome. Why wouldn't you accuse capnrob of the same thing? This is the first time I've posted in one of your threads in a while, but I can do it more often if you'd like. |
I dunno, you seem to take a stab at me any chance you can. You've brought nothing but negativity when ever you post in one of my threads. What did I ever do to you? Do you have some personal vendetta against me? I mean, seriously, what's your damage? |

you get an Uzi
with a grenade launcher attachment
. Your mission is to save hostages.Itll also give awards for Best Sniper (accuracy) and Best Machinegunner (
) Its BADASS. When dad was still around I always went to his house to play it and the sit-down Galaga. It was always a blast.
