One day I'll be smart enough to dodge responsibility But not today. I am getting GIS type data for a mapping project - I have options on how to get the data and using XLSX is not cutting it. Geojson, json, shapefile. What kind of easy to use program is there to use any of those formats? Doing AI to try to understand this and it's not helping. TIA |

| It sounds like you don't have any type of GIS software that you normally use. If that's correct get the data as a shapefile. That can be loaded into Google Earth to let you see the results. |

| It's been a long time since I've been in the GIS world, so my knowledge is definitely outdated. ESRI/ArcGIS was king but you've gotta pay and the pricing is not friendly for personal/hobbyist use. QGIS is free and open-source and cross-platform, but you need a Ph. D in autism to understand how to use it. I don't know if anything else exists. |
