Glock 18 not 19 It had a conversion. I believe it was a 17 though. There is another video witht he same guy and they have it listed as an 18. Look at the back of the slide, and compare it to a normal Glock. Then look at some pics of the conversions. I now see what you mean. I need one of those for my G20 |

Just be careful if you shoot one w/ a vfg.
I seem to remember that a couple years ago a dr (possibly a surgeon) was shooting one (no stock) and the vfg broke off letting his hand sweep the barrel.... 2 or 3 rds into his hand! I think I read about this on sigforum. |

I think I read about this on sigforum. You are not remembering correctly at all. The gun in question was a FA vector uzi. The front POS grip gave way which cause his hand to sweep the muzzle and he took a couple in the hand. He is actually a member here as well and is a physician. |

There is a youtube video of a younger guy shooting a Glock with a VFG and it breaking off. He shot himself in the hand once. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/761520/ |

Is there a link for the blueprint drawings to these? I've always been curious how the rear striker FA works since the VZ-58's FA has conventional trigger pack layout. If you know how a Glock works you'd be surprised at how easy it would be to make it full auto. Look at the pic I posted above. The metal piece down the center of the conversion pushes the trigger bar down just as the slide completes its cycle. This releases the striker again. It's an amazingly simple design. |

An SOT friend of mine made a conversion with an allen head screw, a file, and a drill bit. It was full auto only, and broke the factory backplate after a couple hundred rounds, but it worked. |

Looking at it I can now see why there has never been a FA conversion of the other striker guns that use less than full pre-cock. |

Not from the muzzle end.... |
