2003 Nissan Pathfinder SE, 4x4. Just had new tires put on and they checked the front end alignment for free.  The toe needed to be adjusted as well as the camber, they had a printout.  Apparently, the camber bolts are non adjustable from the factory.

They wanted somewhere in the neighborhood of $240.00 for the camber bolts + alignment + labor (which should be included in the alignment cost).  This sounds very high.  Camber bolts are about $15.00 per wheel from Moog.  Any mechanics know what is a reasonable cost for this service?  If I buy the parts, will another shop install?

I think I picked up a set from autozone or orielly.
Took about 20 min a side to install and then drove it back to get them to align it.

Been a while, but if I remember right, it just replaces one of the bolts at the strut with an ecentric type. instructions were pretty simple.
Probably used some air tools, but could have done it with hand tools.

BTW if you plan on keeping this truck for a while. Take it to firestone for the lifetime alignment. That way (well if you do the work) you can take it back once a year and have them algine it or fix it and take it back cheaper then paying for a new alignment each time.

That sounds like it is right up my alley. I'll drop by the Checker Auto tomorrow to see if they have the bolts.  Unfortunately, there are no Firestone auto centers within 100 miles of me
