Dude...WTF.
The SA XD is not rated for slugs in any caliber. What you need is the Judge. There's slug ammo actually designed for this revolutionary self-defense handgun. Snail drums are most closely associated with the P08 Luger, although I cannot speak to whether they're rated for slugs or not. |

Put ot some glasses of beer, they crawl in, get wrecked and can't get out. Cheap slug trap. Does that really work? There were about 5 or 6 empty beer bottle around me though .
I have to admit I thought I was going to puke. The thing literally exploded from both ends of the barrel. I had little chunks on both arms and my face. The boar snake has it like embedded into the weave for about 6-8 inches now. How exactly do you wash it in the washer without it getting all tangled. My .223 bore snake has a few hundred cleanings without ever being washed. |

Since those tend to be corkscrewed, do take care that it matches with your barrel's rate of twist. Or use a bore snake instead. YMMV, naturally. |

I had just noticed that, my computer has an autocorrect type thing. |

eta: I would just buy a new pistol.... FIFY This. Sell that sissy pistol and go buy a real Glock. Or get a 1911, or an M&P. ANYTHING BUT the XD. The XD can actually hold a tight group right out of the box lol. It's also more ergonomic. I actually have 3 including the competition model. I also have a 1911 but I want more than 8 rounds and an M&P is on the list but still wont replace the XD. |

I had just noticed that, my computer has an autocorrect type thing. No worries; I was just trying to goad you into a photo of a Duroc/Hampshire cross trying to mate with your rifle. Which, should obviously be performed from the chamber end...using a boar guide, of course. |

I don't believe that be slug giblets on your snake, matey. ![]() This thread is making me laugh lol My wife wants me to throw out the Bore Snake and look for a new barrel. I sprayed it all down with brake cleaner and used a junk rag for the bigger chunks. It was pretty damn nasty to clean up. What ever was left of the slug on the snake helped lube the barrel and chamber .
So if I put the bore snake in the tube sock it wont get all knotted up in the wash? How do people get that fluffy end on the rope near the pull string? I see a lot with that on there and it seems helpful. |

I went out before church to feed the cat and I just had pantyhose on. I stepped on a huge slug and parts of him somehow managed to get squeezed through the little microscopic holes in the pantyhose fibers. I didn't think I'd ever get that nasty slime off my foot. |

Gross, I've done that in bare feet and socks. The little suckers are all of the place here for some reason. |
