If it were 2012 who would you chose in this line up, for President?
Poll quickly added... |

Am I the only Alan Keyes fan here? As a former resident of Illinois I remember when he last ran for office. It was not pretty and he failed hard. I don't dislike the guy but he will never win a national election. Neither will Palin but many primary votes will be wasted on her none the less. |

Jindal and Huckabee should probably be on there also. Jindal is a joke and would be laughed off the stage at debates. Huckabee is a religious kook and a tax and spend Republican. The middle ground will not vote for him. I am also guessing the Romney voters hail from Utah.........birds of a feather and all. Somebody explain to me how he is any less of a liberal than our current president. Same goes for Giuliani. |

I like her but I'm not fooling myself into thinking she can win because she cannot. |
| My vote, at least at this particular moment, would be for sarah palin. However, as is typical with me, I'm likely to change my opinion a few times before I finally settle on the one that I will actually vote for on election day but, for now, sarah is the horse I'm betting on. |

I like Palin but I know that she cannot win under any circumstance. For those of you that like her I urge you to come to terms with reality. There is no viable conservative candidate right now, but that's a good thing. You can bet that as soon as one appears that the libs will begin their smear campaign. |

I agree. Palin has been destroyed even though she is right on the issues. Thank you MSM. This is their M.O. Identify, discredit, and destroy. She's far from destroyed. If she was truly destroyed the media would ignore her as they would have no reason to continue to attack her. When was the last time dan quayle, for example, was attacked by the mainstream media (or even mark sanford from south carolina)? The fact that they keep taking pot shots at her proves the libs still thinks she a legitimate threat. |

If we have any chance at taking the White House back we need to cut down on this Religious Right stuff. The fact of the matter is we cannot attract moderate dems with someone like Palin. Moderate Dems and Independents are turned away by all the Religious Right Jabber. We need to get back to the REPUBLICAN FISCAL CONSERVATIVE roots. Look at it this way we dont want the .gov messing with our gun rights, but some want the .gov to meddle in abortion, stem-cell research, ect, ect. Make up your minds, can’t have both and draw a diverse voting pool. As far as I am concerned the .gov should have nothing to do with my guns, or my body. I have many lib friends (and yes not a day goes by that I don’t want to choke the shit out of them) that were on the fence till McCain picked up Palin, once that happened it was over. I strongly believe that the Religious Right would never side with a DEM/LIB. And would side with a strong Republican Conservative even if they were not heavy into the religious aspect, and at the same time drawing in more independent and moderate dems. Now I know this is hard for some to swallow but if we want our Country back we are going to have to make sacrifices. The next election we are going to need the moderate dems and independents in force, a hardcore religious candidate will cause us to lose those voters. Let the attacks begin. |

Plus, she speaks the truth... and the truth hurts to their core. |

Am I the only Alan Keyes fan here? NO, a Keyes and Palin ticket would rock. I guess if you like candidates that support the idea of reparations. (Keyes not Palin)
For me, I'll take DeMint after his victory at Waterloo.
Liz Cheney would be my backup. |
