My husband (Dissipator556) is constantly on here, so I finally made a handle of my own.  I hope that I will not become as addicted to this place as he has!

One thing I would like to ask the other women here: does you husband, boyfriend, dad, whatever, always bother you to carry?

My husband constantly asks me "do you have your .38?"  Like I don't know on my own!  Anyone else get bugged by this?

Perhaps you could convince your husband to remove his offensive remarks in this post: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=16&t=140908&page=2&w=myTopicPop

See page 2. Realize he was probably joking, but it was definately a pun in poor taste and offended a popular woman poster.

Mike

PS- thanks

 Mr. Wilson,
I read my husband's piggish comment- and your post as well.  I can't help but laugh at your offer to my husband- you don't know him very well, apparently.  You boys can play later if you still want, I don't want anything to do with that!

I cannot speak for him, but my husband told me that he would delete his stupid comment, but he can't even sign on because someone locked his account here.  This is a problem for me, because now he is bugging me to use my account.

I changed my password, so he can't do that- he's in time-out until his account gets restored.  He's still reading posts, but can't respond to anyone, except through e-mail.

PS to Mr. Wilson,
How did you find me here?  I thought this part was only for women shooters.  Did I see you on another post or something?

Heather, if you'll click the Active topics up top ALL active topic posts show up.

No I very rarely peruse the Womens forum, but I do watch from active topics and you did mention your affiliation w/ a person I flame'd for his rude behavior toward a lady I respect.

Welcome to the site.
Mike

PS, thanks for letting us know he's trying to delete his comments, I'm deleting my chastisement based on your comments, but will be happy to provide him w/ said "attitude adjustment" should he backslide, which from mods comments would probably be the least of his worries.

Thanks for playing nice Mr. Wilson!  Rich can't wait to come out and play again, but his account is still locked.

I think it's pretty funny to watch him squirm.  Without AR15.com, he has more time to spend doing honey-do projects.   Insert evil laugh.

i may be going out on a limb with this one, especially considering that i know you not one little bit: you probably won't become addicted.  i can count on one hand the number of women who post regularly here.  if you hadn't pushed him out of the way to get on before (out of interest), you probably won't be doing it now.  but there's always hope, right?  [:D]

take it as a sign that he cares immensely about you and your safety.  it does get old and annoying sometimes, but in the end, when i really stop and think about it, it's probably worth it.

welcome.  don't be a stranger!

oh, yeah.  guys can view and post in here.  this forum was created as a "refuge" of sorts for women to post without being dogged by the general population in GD (general discussion).

the sad thing is that there comments outnumber ours most times.

Nope,my hubby never asks me. As he knows I have it with me everywhere I go. It never comes out of the concealed place in my purse. And I feel light when it's not in there. I'm always having to remind him if he has his.
