I'm getting my first AR next week. I'm interested in a Fulton Armory Phantom FAR-15 model. Quality, accuracy, etc? Does any one else make one with no front sight tower? I want to use a scope with backup flip-up sights. Also, does anyone know of a fun shop in the Long Island area that sells them? Thanks. |

Quoted: Wow, a topic that no one on ARFCOM has an opinion on. A first! Opinion? did I have an opinion when charlie shot my best friend on the Ho Chi Min Delta trail?. Did Uncle Sam give me an opinion when I was the first .50 cal sniper on Delta Force in the civil war?. I thought not... Edited to add: Hmm I want some beef jerky pie |

Strats, keep in mind that the front sight tower will not interfere with you scope's visual operation provided you stay above the 4X magnification range. If you get the standard fixed front sight tower it's going to be much quicker to flip up the BUIS and be ready-to-shoot. CMOS |

Hey Strat Great to hear your about to take the plunge into the world of ARs. I can't speak about Fulton Armory but I'm sure they make quality weapons. I do know RRA makes the Varmint in a 24"flat top and 16"18"&20" in a EOP ( Elevated Optical Platfoam )upper .
