I'm computer challenged. I just DL'd and installed the latest FF since I am tired of IE. I have 2 questions:

1. With IE, I could hit the address bar (dropdown menu) and click one of the addresses I frequent. In FF, I clock it and it shows a couple of recent pages but then lists a bunch of "sub-links" to the sites I was on. Is there anyway to get back to the web addresses listed?

2. I just went to Youtube and it won't play any videos. It says someething about Adobe needed. I try to download the newest version of Adobe flash player and it tells me that I have to turn off FireFox. What the hell?

Youtube vids still play fine with IE though.

You will have to personalize it a bit and download the plug-ins, add ons and extensions you want.

The Adobe Flash player installer wants to close the firefox windows so it can access registry keys or ini files

Firefox, IMO, is a much better browser than IE.  There are some tweaks you can do to make it better, but if you do alot of selecting stuff from the address bar, I'd get more liberal with your use of bookmarks, that's what they're for.

I've never used anything but FF on my computers(well CrazyBrowser before FF).  Go to the plug ins screen and sort by downloads and you'll find most of the ones worth getting like adblock and spell check, etc.  I don't bother with skins tho, ff updates constantly and it gets annoying with skins.

Got it guys, thanks.

This FF is pretty damn neat. It's gonna take some gettin' used to though.

I used to use the address bar for that, but I love the new version that automatically searches the history for what I type in.

To play YouTube videos with the new version of FF, there is a 2.95 monthly user content fee.
