If anyone remembers the Firearms mod for Half-Life 1, specifically the RC-1.0 through RC-2.5 gameplay style, then this mod is the Source version of it. FAS has been around for a little while now, and while it's graphically no 'Insurgency', it aims to bring back the "lots of guns with no restrictions" concept, mixed in with a continuous, fast-paced, ultra-violent pace of combat. For anyone with Half-Life 2, it'll be a free download when it comes out. Along with Insurgency this is one I'm definitely looking forward to.

It's already entered private alpha testing according to the Firearms Website. Here's a few images:

Oh Im going to add this; DO NOT mistake this with the crap of Firarms 2. The group of Firearms 2 stole some material from the Source team and things havent been right since. Firearms Source is the only mod that has the "blessing" of the original Firearms team. So if you play one play Firearms Source not Firearms 2......

Thought I add a little drama to the mix

I remember playing the original, I always wanted to set up the mortar and start bombarding people with it, but I sucked at it and was constantly picked off by snipers.
