well we got bored the other day, so we started a small fire (in a fire barrel). i have never photographed fire before, and thought i would try it out.

let me know what you guys think.

Gear: Nikon D80, Nikon 70-300VR, all hand held.

I used to do that out at the ranch in the firepit. I need to digitize a bunch of my old negatives.

I love that first picture. Fire is so cool to look at in still.



That first one would be great for use in photoshopping effects.

Absolutely. It's hard to find good pictures of fire/flames on those sites
