it was great...up until they make him out to be a mentally unstable conservative who emotionoally controlled/abused his family to the point of his wife leaving him and taking the kid.

One of my favorites. Two folks with totally screwed up lives dealing with them in their own way. Ole DFens was on the edge and going over and I liked him.

Sergeant Prendergast:
