this. and I will never 'twitter'use it in a minimalist manner, nice to have networking with friends for their contact info, i dont do all the stupid games, polls, videos, etc etc. Yup. -HAZE It's great if you're not obsessed with having a ton of "friends" who you really don't know. I just use it for real friends, it's great for organizing events and things like that. |

I swore I'd never join something like that, but did . I don't play any of the stupid 'Send A Friend a Happy Bunny'- type games , but its interesting after 20+ years to see what class mates look like. I keep plenty of pro-gun , anti-liberal -type stuff on my wall to keep the libtards away.So far... so good. |

It's OK. Attention whores annoy me with all their stupid posts. I've been tempted to start a Facebook page, but the stupid bullshit I witnessed when I had a Myspace page makes me hesitant. Is it safe to assume that Facebook has the same useless surveys, awful layouts, shitty music, shitty videos and other garbage that I quickly came to despise? |

It's OK. Attention whores annoy me with all their stupid posts. Twitter is even worse. Narcissism is an understatement for how that place is able to function. Cause we don't have that problem here in the General Discussion forum.
The womens forum helps to regulate it though, which is a good thing.... reminds me of those japanese beetle traps you put on your lawn. |

Multiply it by a 100 and you might come close to what Twitter is about. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if some jackass on there probably tells of his bowel movement probably while still on the toilet. |

So when you click on someones page you dont hear crappy rap music or see their awful background that is everywhere on the screen preventing you from reading anything. |

Is there a way to lock it so noone can see your stuff unless YOU invite them? Not really. I had an account there that was locked down like that. I found a people search online, not related to facebook, that I entered my name into, and the search pulled up my name, address, phone number, and facebook photo. It was a bit of a wake up. I no longer have a facebook account. |
