Obviously a lack of one explains itself. I have seen dozens on here that I would really like to know the story behind.
Mine is 5.56 vs 1/2" driveway plate steel, 2nd round near same hole would go through. My .375 H&H mag blew 3/4" holes in it. |

Current From Taser Apparently Hit Chemicals, Ignited Flames
Wednesday, August 19, 2009 5:25 PM Updated: Wednesday, August 19, 2009 7:21 PM Print Story E-mail Story LANCASTER, Ohio — New details emerged Wednesday about what transpired before police Tasered a man and briefly caught his shirt on fire. The incident occurred just one day after Lancaster police officers began carrying the Tasers, which were made available to the department through a grant, 10TV's Lindsey Seavert reported. Police were called to Memorial Drive on Monday night after receiving reports that a homeless man was inhaling from an aerosol can and running through traffic. Officers arrived and found Daniel Wood near a K-Mart store. According to police, he was inhaling fumes from a can of keyboard cleaner, Seavert reported. Wood allegedly ran from officers and was chased down. That's when police said he tried to bite and kick the officers. One of the officers then shot Wood with a Taser, but the current apparently ignited some of the leftover chemicals from the can of keyboard cleaner. Police quickly extinguished the flames. "It wasn't apparent to (the officers) that there was enough of this lingering around the area to be a flash," said Lancaster Police Chief David Bailey. "Apparently some of the vapor did cling to him, or was close by him, and the spark of the Taser probes did temporarily ignite the vapor." Wood was not seriously injured and remained in custody Wednesday. He faces charges that include resisting arrest and assaulting an officer. |
