Excellent movie about survival, dedication, determination and dogs. Safe for the kiddies and interesting for the adults. Even had a couple of good scary moments. Definitely worth the price of admission.

The story isn't the happy ending that the title and trailers would suggest. Despite that, my 8 yo daughter thoroughly enjoyed it, and didn't have any problems dealing with the reality of the dog team's survival.

A happier ending than the original Japanese film "Antarctica" and the true story on which both were based; only two dogs survived the ordeal.
