I think that the 511 is night vision combatible and the other is not.

The 550 series are NV compatible, not the 510 series. |

heavier duty. The 511 and 512 have a protective hood over the top.
The 551 and 552 have night vision capabilities. the 501 and 502 are entry level models the difference between the (1) and (2)models is the battery type. |
