I have a 512, it's a great sight and well worth the asking price.   No magnification and uses AA batteries.   You might shave $20 off that price but not much more.   I'd highly suggest a quality BUIS as well.

I got a 512 from JTAC Supply.  Jason is a dealer here and he gave me a great price and great service.  I highly recommend him.  Send him an email about pricing  I really like my 512.  Great optic.

I still have an EO TECH model 400 in use. Works great, still reliable, no problems ever. Bags

You need to talk to some of the vendors <Grant - wink, wink> here at ARFCOM.

I've seen better prices.

I've got a 512 and love it. I've got a 552 on lay-a-way too.

I liked my first Eotech (a 552) so much, I now also have 4 512's and a Bushnell AA model.

These are EXCELLENT.

The double A models are only a little longer, but AA Lithiums last a very long time in them.

DO NOT try to focus on the reticle.  Look at your target.  If you wear glasses normally, go on and do so.  Look at the target, do not turn the brightness up any more than necessary, and it will be sharp and clear.

I don't think there are too many people around here that have even heard of this "EOTech" thing you speak of.

Thanks I emailed a question.  Their 512 run's about $332 which is avg but the good customer service also plays a role!!!

I bought one from SWFA.  They cost $331 and they toss in the neoprene cover and batteries.  Good service and fast shipping.  They're also a paid advertiser here.
