I recently saw an ad in the Equipment Exchange that was selling an upper. I saw something interesting and wanted to ask the hive ...
The seller offered insurance on shipping for an additional amount, with the caveat that IF insurance was not purchased and IF the package was lost in shipping it would be on the fault of the buyer and not the seller. What does the hive think? |

I put the same thing in every ad I've ever put up. Then I say it again in the subsequent emails/IMs just to make sure everyone's on the same page. Pretty much. If I'm selling a $2k rifle, insurance can run like $40 for it. If you want it covered, you have that option. |

Quoted: I dont disagree with that ad, but I add insurance to everything anyway, 2-3 dollars is cheap when it might mean avoiding a bunch of bullshit over a lost package when they refused to pay for the insurance in the first place. QFT It's a calculated risk without insurance. If an item is $10 I say forget it. If the item is more valuable it's worth the extra couple bucks to insure it.
