This is a gun site.

Guns and drugs don't mix.  They never have.  They never will.

All societies that have legalized drugs have banned guns.  So it is highly likely that we ever did so in the US, we would also ban guns.

By this logic anyone who advocates drug legalization is in direct opposition to gun rights and does not belong on AR15.com.  They have chosen to put a perceived "right" above the fully documented right to keep and bear arms.

I feel I have to confront their stupidity in order to make them understand they have made decision between competing interests, but it's getting old, and frankly I'm about done arguing with stupid––creating balance.

If this keeps up, the site will be known for drug users who like guns, instead of the community it once was.

Odd that you make a post about gun rights yet have a ban-era rifle as your avatar.

Just sayin'

Huh?

You think that because I bought a LE marked 6920 (so marked for the non-free states, doesn't mean jack in CO) that I somehow support a gun ban?

I'm gonna need you to connect those dots...

Should I have bought a Bushmaster?

Have you ever smoked marijuana? because if you haven't, then your no better than the anti-gunners that haven't ever shot a firearm.
I think they should legalize marijuana and lessen gun laws.  Obviously the synthetic and manufactured drugs should remained banned.
Which societies have legalized drugs and stripped its people of its guns?  I did a search for countries that legalized drugs and most countries have drug laws prohibiting recreational use.

So you are comparing a 100% legal, Constitutionally protected right that is essential to our freedom, to an illegal and immoral non-right that makes slaves out of users and non-using taxpayers alike?

I didn't intend for this thread to be a drug debate––we've had that out GD multiple times. My intent was to show there is a culture here that is inconsistent with firearm ownership and what you just posted illustrates that perfectly!  If you put drug use in the same category as gun ownership, you asking for more gun control.

Instead of acknowledging that the only two people in this thread have both tried to make me out to be a hypocrite.

I'm still trying to figure out the comment about my 6920...

slaves out of users- let me guess, you think that people get addicted to smoking marijuana.
how is it that this immoral drug is also used legally for medicinal purposes?
Im curious about this link between legalizing drugs and gun control

Show me a country that has legalized drugs and hasn't banned guns?

The Brady Bunch would salivate over an increase in crime––we all know what their answer is.
