Don't know if its true or not. I'm lustting over the Droid right now but havent pulled the trigger. Verizons calling plans leave something to be desired. |

We had to change our plan, but I did some research, and we were paying $74 / mo. for our 500 minute shared voice plan. Now we're paying $125 for a 700 minute voice, Unlimited Data for the Droid, 25/MB data for the ENV3, 200 text for the Droid and 500 (with unlimited M2M) for the ENV 3 and insurance for both phones. I did a lot of research on my options, I had wanted an iPhone, Pre or other smart-phone and my wife wanted texting so she could keep in contact with my niece and nephew. After comparing Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile plans for smart phones that offered what we wanted the best price plans were at Verizon. I was quite stunned. The nice thing is if we wind up not using the texts or the data on my wife's phone we can remove the services and reduce our monthly without penalty. I'm extremely happy with our deal and the Droid. For me, the Droid is the best smartphone option of them all. I have a Sprint Black Berry for work and one of my co-workers has an iPhone. So I've tried them but the Droid just seems to be me. |
