Saw it in the theater whenever it came out, 48 now.
Theater was known for letting kids in to see R movies.
"Cheerleaders Wild Weekend" was the best movie I have ever paid for 5 times, box office chick asked if our parents knew we were seeing this!

Vanishing Point at the Motor Vue drive in, in SLC, Utah in 1970. I worked there and married one of the girls that worked there in 1969.

Local drive in screens Vanishing Point and Two Lane Blacktop once every summer. Always try to catch it.

Saw the Original Star Wars and Indiana Jones at the drive-in.  What a great experience as a kid.  Mom would pack a picnic dinner and we would all have a great time.

I've seen it twice in the last 2 days... they just started airing a new network on regular tv in st louis, comet tv... it's all shitty Sci Fi and horror movies, which I love...
 They've played it twice..

Eta: I saw the original star wars at the drive in..mad max, a few others... usually the drive in meant watching TV on the carport, because we were broke as a joke. .

Warriors and Up In Smoke played at the Circle Drive In in Waco for a long time when I was in high school.

Great pairing!
