If you were to build a Killdozer, what model would you use and why?

1) ease of operation

2) power

3) fuel consumption and range

4) top speed

5) ect

D6R- cause it's big enough to push some shit, but still easy on the fuel.

Real question is why aren't we discussing killhoes?  I'm pretty sure an armored up Cat 345 could stop anything short of an Abrams.

With forks, cause flipping, stabbing, and probing shit is infinitely useful.

After watching the kill dozer video, that's what I thought they needed to stop the threat...

a 988 Cat from the nearest gravel pit could have gave him a hard time

I gotta defer to a trackhoe in this situation.  Having a 30' hydraulic arm that will swing 10t without flinching would be clutch.

True, but I think the only thing that Komatsu could outrun, is an excavator

They needed a little speed to get around him and flip him on his lid.

America needs a kill-dozer/hoe/loader competition, obviously.

Genius!

There should be only one rule regarding equipment: A team can field as many vehicles as they like, as long as the total weight equals one D9. No one will know how the other team is configured until the competition starts

So many possibilities...

Run a single D9 and rely on weight and power

Or a fleet of, say, 20 bobcats working as a team

Or maybe 10 bobcats supporting a medium size track hoe.

Probably a D11R or D11T, because that is all we have at work.

I would need our fuelers/oilers to follow me around though.
We have a couple of LeTourneau 2350s at work, after running them, I often think of what they would be able to do with their 60 yard buckets (Although this one has a 53 yard rock bucket on it). hahahah!

A bobcat aint gonna be able to do shit with even the smallest dozer.

A few years back me and a buddy were rough grading some lots in a neighboorhood. He was on a 963, I was on a 943.   That 943 couldn't do shit with that 963 as he could push me around at will.

I think the D6 is the best all around machine and has plenty of power. I once used  a D6R to move a broke down D8L I was able to push it around with no problem. I also ran a D6R LPG machine once that dam thing would go place that you had no business being.

1850s are good machine, and much less costly to run than 2350s.
