Good thing I searched before making a topic, and yes you can watch it online after the air.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile That one orginated in the Survival Discussion forum under the Outdoors tab... ETA: I'll watch it, but I imagine they will make the people look kinda crazy like that last preppers show they had a year or so ago. I also don't really understand how the preppers are showing their faces, houses, and stashes and what not. If they were real preppers, they wouldn't want people to know what they have. I'd imagine they must be getting a lot of cash to be featured. |

Why would people put their info out like that ? $$$ It's good for the cause too. I disagree. They make preppers out to be complete and utter wackos. I remember that one a while back where they had some woman and an autistic hermaphrodite (It LITERLLY looked like a Fallout Super Mutant) who were living together and prepping. The things that were coming out of the ogre's mouth were pure, unrelenting comedy. To me, it's no different than when they let cameras and documentaries into a gun show. Where's the first place they go? You guessed it, the guy with the table full of Nazi shit and Swastikas and white power/Aryan nation garbage, then every third camera shot is that crap again and again. These shows are about ridicule, nothing more, nothing less. Also, per dear leader, anyone with more than a weeks worth of food and whatnot in their house, is a terrorist. You. Don't. Invite. The. Man. Into. Your. Life. |

Quoted: I can't picture this show portraying gun owners in a positive light. Me neither. It will be about ridiculing preppers and prepping. Now if you did a documentary where you did an isolated "stop the welfare checks" drill and the ensuing chimp out, that would get people to maybe take notice. I say maybe since hurricane Katrina was just that. DP

Peter Larson, in Utah, reviews his emergency exits in case of a necessary evacuation brought on by the detonation of a nuclear plant in Omaha, Nebraska
Linky Linky Please oh please, someone tell me how the fuck to detonate a nuclear plant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like the show did too much listening with their ears and minds closed. |

I watched one of the shows about a month ago. It was actually pretty informative. They even asked the couple why they would want thier location known because dosen't that open them up to people coming to steal thier shit if S did HTF. They said they think humanity would still bascilly be good and they would help anyone that showed up as much as they could.
Thier setup was sweet, they used thier food waste to feed grubs and worms, then fed the worms to thier chickens, then at the chickens eggs. It was like a 3 way poop cycle
We're nothing even close to preppers or anything, I just watched it to check it out and the wife who's not even close to being a 'survivalist' even found it intresting. It didn't paint the people as nutjobs or anything. |

Today on yahoo news or foxnews.com (I can't remember which one) there was a news story about this program. The story stated that one family in Floresville Texas ( something like that) is on the show and says they have enough food to feed 22 people for 15 years: nine shipping containers of food. I would like to see what you can store that can be expected to last for 15 years. |

I can't picture this show portraying gun owners in a positive light. Gun owners don't portray gun owners in a positive light. Exhibit A: General Discussion. Forget about surviving TEOTWAWKI, nuke attacks, or chicom invasions - cities would burn and casualties would be in the six figures if the 20 largest cities in the country were without electricity for four weeks, let alone four months or four years. |
