Had a friend who's store was being robbed.
He had a great dane locked in another room.
So he made a leap and hit the door open and dropped behind his counter with
the guy firing at him and missing. He dog came out and the guy shot it in the head
with a .357 Magnum mortally wounding it. But the dog had enough adrenalin flowing to
take the guy down and allow the gunshop owner to bring his pistol to bear.

He kept a picture of that dog prominently displayed in his shop after that.

Fake.  I found it(along with others) on a breeders website while doing research on where to buy my GSD.  It was a training exercise and of course they use it for marketing.
