I come close minus age and tech being my profession. I wouldn’t go near her or have any interest whatsoever. My wife got me when I was a project and had very little to offer. Once things changed our lives got better together and we have been able to enjoy it together. If I would have found myself single 5-6 years ago I doubt I’d ever get married again. Any guy that fits her mold has been taken a long time ago. |

ROFL! Guys even close to being on this path are snapped up in college at the earliest and 30 at the latest by the smart girls who f their brains out and keep them so f'd that they can't walk. This isn't Animal House anymore where Muffy doesn't put out for the QB or BMOC or rising tech exec or businessman. Sure, she might get her 2-3 kids then "discover" that he has been cheating or just shut things off and get millions/billions in the divorce (Gates/Bezos/Brin/Wynn/Bill Gross/Tiger Woods) or they might stay together. But make no mistake, the women know exactly what they are doing, how to get it and how to keep the other women who want what she has away from her man. And she wants a "masculine" man but one who is a simp to her whims and wishes, which is an oxymoron. As above, she needs to bring a term sheet to the first date as her status is still pretty vague. |

To be fair, she is in San Francisco, so already she has to deal with a general lack of straight men. Combine that with Tech being filled with a bunch of introverts, it probably does seem like there are not too many options. You tend to see that even in larger cities; there might be thousands of single people in your area but due to limited interactions because of location, work schedule, interests, it might seem that there are only a handful of people available. Good luck to her (I don’t mean that sarcastically). |
