Hey guys,
I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that was in my house when I bought it a year ago. Not 100% sure on model number, but I may have the manual in all the house records the previous owner left us. The issue I'm having is that it isn't going through the cycle properly. It doesn't seem to matter what setting I put it on either. I set the type of wash, then hit start. I hear it start to pump water, and then it goes quiet. It just says like that until I hit the cancel button. Once I hit cancel, it drains and I can open the door. I can hear it draining when I hit cancel, so I know water is getting to it. The little door for the detergent is popped open when I open the door, but it's like it stops right when the door opens for the detergent. I tried different wash settings, but no go. I also tried to turn off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes and then back on, I've read that will reboot the control board. However, it still seems to have the same issue. I popped open the door and looked inside, and it doesn't appear like anything is wrong or clogged or anything like that, so I'm kinda stumped at this point. Anything else I should be checking? Or is it time to just get a new dish washer and be done with it? Thanks! |
