Was in the mood for some fried stuff tonight...so here it is, fried catfish, hush puppies and corn. Summer Ale to drink.
jalapeños for the hush puppies... 
The assembly line, catfish filet's lounging in a buttermilk and egg bath. 
Frying the fish.

Need a fork and some dipping sauce for the catfish. 9/10 Not a big fan of the catfish without sauce of some sort to hide the tainted, muddy, fishy, pollutant taste. The Hush Puppies are an easy 10!!! The buttermilk soak takes most of the nasty taste out. What's left is actually quite good, even without sauce.

Nope I didn't catch it...I'm in CO for gods sake.  I gave up on fishing since I left Alaska, nothing can compare to fishing up there.  Don't be brutal, now. The Lord has you in Colorado. You are surrounded with trout streams and States known for their flyfishing trout streams. If you can't appreciate that you're going to hell. |

If you catch your own you can let them live overnight in a tube of clean water, that helps clean out some of the nasty taste. However the majority of the time it is poor prep that leads to the shitty taste. |

I'm no dinner pic expert but.....................
Needs more reloads and an AR...... On the food side of it: a fork would be nice or is that the kind of catfish you eat with your hands like spare ribs? 
I'm lazy so I can't be asked to look but what kind of beer are you drinking?
