[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Dinner pic (Page 1 of 2)
i've been told that no one actually drinks Guinness "warm", folks from Ireland drink it at "cellar temperature" which is about 50-55 degrees (much colder than room temperature, but warmer than refrigerator temperature). This is the proper temperature at which most beers should be drank, having the beer too cold dulls the flavor. If any Irish drinkers can confirm this i'd appreciate it. |
I'm Irish...but never lived there. My grandma drank it cold, I know that much. lol![]() |

FWIW, the folks at beeradvocate recommend that it be Served @: 45-50°F. Like everything else regarding food and beverages, it's a matter of opinion I guess. |
I think Newcastle were the first ones to come out with the color changing labels based upon temperature...well before Coors, but after GI Joe. They didn't bring them over to the states that way, but I remember being in London around 2000 and I thought the label that changed from white to blue depending on temperature was one of the coolest things I had seen. |

Great dinner pics tonight! Awesome dinner so you get off with a warning on the stapler/measuring device missing. The 'reload' for your Sig however, is not loaded. -1 for the infraction and -1 for trying to pass it off as a reload. +.5 for getting to page 2 with no one noticing though (the food looks that good). 8.5/10 |
But the extra 10 rnd mag is loaded...I can take close ups if you like... |
Damn it feels good to be a Gangsta! |
This dinner pic is in memory of Hemi! Didn't know him, but we had the same taste in music.
