Fresh walleye coated in butter, breadcrumbs and pecorino romano, then baked.

Pasta tossed in sauteed mushrooms and onions and sprinkled with pecorino romano.

Nice batch of steamed middleneck clams with butter for dipping.

Bottle of Spaten Octoberfest.

beautiful dinner...... on its own...10....BUT alas, this is not the dinner by its own self pic thread...

SO... no rifle -1
no knife -1

total = 8/10 unless you caught the walleye and dug the clams...then other rule violations are absolved....and you get an automatic 10mm.

Bad year for lake Erie Walleye for me this year (weather wouldn't cooperate) But i did fill the freezer with Yellow Perch, Chinook, and Coho Salmonoid.

I fished lake erie at least a half dozen times this year. We tried breast bay, all around the detroit light, the shipping channel, etc. - completely skunked. We caught a few perch and a ton of silver bass. We threw them all back. I tried erie deeries, pencil plugs and crawler harnesses. Nothing worked.

Better luck next year, I suppose.
