Ok, my friend's brother has a question: He needs to dial a suffic with his modem. He dials 9, a pause (comma), and the number. When the number connects, he needs another number to be dialed. How can he do this? This is for dialup internet. Any ideas? |

I had them for years and after you dial the local number and connect its just a matter of the two modems agreeing to talk to each other and then checking out the username and password. Are you saying that AFTER you dial and connect it wants another number? (Phone number?) |
Ok, he dials 9, access number, and then a security code. This security code is used in his CBQ bulding for the phone system. Kinda weird that it comes after the access code, but that's what he told me. He lives in quarters. Any idea how to do that? Editted to add, he can do it with NetZero. NetZero's dialer already has a suffix option. He's trying Netscape internet to see if it works better. Netscape's dialer doesn't have a suffic option, it seems. Does Windows XP dialup networking have it? |
