I've eaten about two dozen over the last week. My wife is now threatening divorce. I spooked every deer in a mile radius over the weekend.
Just can't get enough of them. |

Quoted:
Tell her you are going to switch to pickled eggs since she doesn't want you eating anymore deviled eggs. ![]() When I used to hunt with a club, we would consume 10 dozen pickeled eggs every deer season. I had to stop eating a couple of days before I left camp. |

Quoted: Deviled and redbeet eggs, I could eat everyday of my life and not get tired of them. I knew you were from PA before I looked. Eggs pickled with red beets are so delicious - and SO Pennsylvanian. I'm with you & the OP. I could eat deviled eggs (or pickled eggs) until I made myself sick.

Quoted:
Mayo Brown mustard Chipotle Tabasco Worcestershire sauce Crumbled bacon bits Fine grated sharp cheddar I've been making deviled eggs for a while now and so far that's my favorite recipe to date. Instead of Chipotle Tabasco, try adding some candied jalapenos diced up real small. Adds a little sweetness that I think is desperately needed in deviled eggs. |

Thanks for the tip. |

My wife's mom is from PA. The first year after we got married, my wife made pickled beets and eggs to take to our family Christmas party. She was surprised and disappointed that no one ate any. ![]() I tried one, and I liked it. But everyone else was .I hate deviled eggs. There are always at least three plates of them at every family function I go to. |
