Canon has their factory refurbished EOS R6 mkII mirrorless cera on sale and in stock for just $1599. This is one of the best all around semi pro cameras on the market and Canon's best selling mirrorless cameras. I wonder how that camera is versus the Nikon Z6lll........."assuming" the Z6lll wld be a smidge better, since it's newer. Nikon had their Z6lll refurbs on sale last weekend for......$1800. I think. As much as I look at the Canon stuff, and wonder about their focus (I volunteer and just shoot for our local h.s. teams from time to time) stuff and feel mesmorized by it, I'm just too old 😅 to learn a new system. I guess what it boils down for me is picking up a good used D5, or, jump on a Z6lll when they throw them back on sale. As much as I want or like a D5, I cld get into a Z6lll for about the same money, and have all the current tech, not 10 year old tech. But yeah, Canon throws some killer deals out there with their refurbs......thx for the heads up. Sorry about the thread hi-jack. I really shd go seek help, since this camera stuff is soooooo addicting!!! |

I have an R10, and it takes better pictures than I should be able to. My fear is that when I upgrade to a better camera, I'll start buying lenses.  So far, I've managed to keep my very amateur photography hobby much less expensive than my other hobbies. |
