He has all three branches of gubment and he's still ruling like a liberal.
No spending bill ever vetoed. Giving away the store to New Orleans. Deficit approaching 8,000,000,000,000 and we're approaching bankruptcy. I'm having a hard time defending him on another board lately. Conservative, myass. WTF ??!!?? This is not what I voted for. <grrrr> |
Wait a minute, lemme top off your Kool-Aid there, buckaroo. Everything will be fine in a second or so-
Who exactly is approaching bankruptcy??????? |
I agree with you 100%. And I still voted for him. And I would vote for him again if he ran against Kerry.
Kind of hard to curb spending when we are in global war on terrorism with active fronts in Iraq and Afganistan and we just suffered the worse natural disaster in modern history.
I would cut the guy some slack. |
Bigger perspective:
'Two horses w/ the same owner' Doesn't matter what 'party' you affiliate w/--they are both taking us to HELL in a quick pace. It's truly time to vote Libertarian or Constitution Party IF our votes count at all. |
In theory that is a great idea. In practice you'll get a Democrat in office. |
Why $50M to the Pali's? Why kiss Fox's ass? I would still vote for him if he could legally run again. |
I've given up because hes a complete waste of space and nothing but a worthless bag of old flesh. The unfortunate part is alot of people still think hes Gods gift to Office. |
Ask Clinton how well voting for third parties works for the Dims. |
US! When it takes a suitcase of money to buy a loaf of bread b/c the dollar isn't worth crap, then you'll know the meaning of backruptcy. I'm not against his spending on the war on terror. I'm against him NEVER having vetoed ANYTHING. He spends on social programs like any democrat. Wouldn't it be great for him to act like a conservative and just once say "NO, we won't pay for that pet project"? |
"US" as in you and me? I'm not bankrupt |
Not quite what I voted for but still light years ahead of his opponent, because, remember, in a presidential election, there are only two choices: if you don't pick one, the other will win. I've been sorely disappointed in the way Bush is handling certain things but, would you rather have Kerry cram an AWB with no sunset down our throats 30 days after he got in office? How about joining the blame game with Nagin, Blanco, Farrakahn, Jackson and Sharpton instead of doing what needs to be done? Nowadays its never voting for the best candidate anymore; its voting for the lesser of two evils. |
Your other option would have been Kerry - . . . . or Al Gore . . . .
I just wish they could have cloned reagan . . . and make him president for the next 20 years . . . |
Why should we cut him some slack? He bungled the whole UN vs Iraq thing, caved in like fool and spent 9 months kissings France's ass only to us basically go at it alone. Instead of approaching the UN by saing Saddam had repeatedly shown no reguard for the UN sanctions he took the "weapons of mass destruction" route. For 9 months we heard daily from every offical in Bush's administration that Saddam had WMD, the WMD had to be removed, that WMD would be given to terrorists. Not only did he take the wrong approach to the UN but he was completely wrong on the approach he did take. When his advisors told him Iraq would be expensive, take massive amounts of troops, and have a huge price tag he fired them and told us those advisors were wrong. Turns out he was wrong and dragged the country down with his bad guess. Do you remember that Iraq was supposed to be a free democratic country...now it's turning into another Islamic Republic similar to Iran. Cut him some slack? Hell NO. He has made too many bad decisions, gone off in the wrong direction too many times to "cut him some slack". He needs to pull his head out of his ass and start being a responsible fiscal conservative that he claimed to be back in 2000 the first time he ran. |
+1, because nobody else has a chance |
all he ever was is the lesser of 2 evils. we have a much bigger problem than bush to deal with |
I used to think he did a decent job, but his (in)actions on several things have pissed me off. He is also hardly conservative.
Currently its in excess of $6trillion. Dont feel bad, you're only off by a little over a trillion. |
I seriously doubt there will ever be a viable third party candidate for the Presidency.
Actually, I believe it crossed the 7 trillion mark just recently. |
No you wont. You will know the meaning of hyperinflation. |
No, I'm not, you are. It's 7,919,000,000,000 to be more exact. http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/opd/opdpenny.htm Please don't fall back on not voting John Kerry as the answer - he's an idiot! Bush has it NOW. It's time for him act and veto pork and not spend like a drunken sailor. There's nothing wrong with spending to defend the country, but there is something wrong with not saying NO to pork barrel spending. Look at all the crap we're spending on! www.cagw.org http://www.cagw.org/site/PageServer?pagename=reports_porkbarrelreport Conservative myass....he's a spend and spend liberal! |
bring back the bull moose party. i want TR for president.
the demos have become socialists the repubs have become demos there is nothing to fill the void where the repubs once stood. the libertarians are too extreme. we need a new 'real' conservative party (or someone needs to take back the repub party and somehow get it back on the true conservative track). |
No he was a Serbian guy that massacred a bunch of muslims. Disclaimer: I do not support his actions. Actually got a Bosnian Muslim friend who thinks the name is funny, so no one try and bust my balls. |
fair enough, thanks for the reply. |
Bush is a nightmare. He is not a fiscal conservative, that's obvious enough.
I'd vote for Ted Bundy before I vote for sKerry. |
I always hated Bush and thought from day one that attacking Iraq was a TACTICAL error. If you wanna attack Muslims pick the right bloody country! For this i was labeled a DU'er on this site by the typical Bush ass lickers. We all know who they are, right? So now Bush's numbers have plummetted to Nixon levels!
I think of Bush as the "anti-libertarian" and thats why I hate his guts so much. We are socially progressive and fiscally restrained. Bush spends like a liberal but he persecutes porn makers like it's going out of style. He attacks radio disc jockies like they are the Taliban but gives tax cuts while at the same time increasing budget spending!! what an asshole. So now he does'nt have to be re-elected, guess what? once the housing bubble bursts we are in deep shit. The stock market is stagnant (1998 levels) the interest rates are so low you can't make any interest on Money markets or Bonds. And sooner or later we're gonna have to pay off the debt of the budget which now is up to like 12% of the total budget. |
Agreed, take your cash and buy gold or other precious metals, b/c the dollar ain't gonna be worth shit the way we're printing it! I can't believe we're fighting an endless war on credit cards. |
BTW, he's got a perfect forum to bitch slap teddy kennedy, joey biden, nancy pelosi and company. Talk about having all the advantage and using none of it! |
One of the primary reasons that Iraq was such a good target was precisely because it was NOT considered a stronghold of a particular sect of Islam (regardless Saddam's sunni background, and the indigenous sunni and shiite populations, they weren't running the place like the Ayatollah does Iran). The blunder was believing that Muslims wouldn't fight this hard for the place. I hope that my FACTS haven't gone and ruined your fantasy too bad... |
Whooooo..............I was worried about 8 gazillion, but 6...............time to run down to the store for some more Pabst and continue on with life. vmax84 |
Yep, only around 8 trillion deficit. Lets max out the credit cards on some chinese junk and get some PBR! Let the good times roll! |
As long as there is PBR in the world, one needn't worry. vmax84 |
It's really very simple: Go to the other board and say: "Bush tricked me into thinking he was one of us. I'm sorry I was so blind that I fell for his trick before he got nominated in 2000." That's what I did. And the reason he rules like a liberal is because that's how liberals rule. |
You may not think so now, but if your place of residence (U.S.A.) is bankrupted then your personal wealth is of no matter, it is worthless. |
And guess why that is? Who is writing the rules? Think about it. |
Yup I don't understand that either |
