Someone at a certain national payroll company screwed up today and no one from my company got paid. I get testy when this crap happens. When I started this job last year the same company screwed up my enrollment and I wound up going 6 weeks without a paycheck. I also had a similar problem with another company that I worked for a few years ago where I went almost 2 months without getting paid because of an another screw up by the same company.

I don't ask much, but I do expect to get paid on time.

Does the referenced national payroll company have a 3 initial name?

Yeah. This is a large company and I know that they have money in the bank to cover payroll. Last year when I started making daily phone calls about my check they cut me a check and over nighted it to me.

The worst was back in 2000. I had moved out to a small town in Colorado to take a job where the customer I was working for was basically the only game in town. I relocated across country on my own dime, and then it took me two months to start getting paid. I was down to $50 in the bank when I finally started getting paid. I never want to go through that again.

Does it start with A, have a D in the middle, and a P at the end?

My company uses that three letter word.  I guess I've been lucky with my pay, hasn't been screwed yet.

We use that company too. So far no problems.

Ugh... I hate that 3 letter company (many instances of late or insufficient checks), and I think we're about to move to them for our payroll here.

Problem is easily solved.. take home equipment that is equal value to your pay! When you get paid, get it out of the pawn shop and give it back!

Easy peasy lemon squeezy...

My old company used to use them and they were garbage...every pay period there would be missing paychecks.
