| I want to put some of my DVD collection on my external hard drive for when i deploy. Ive heard of a DVD ripper to convert them . Is this legal ? Which DVD ripper is the best and is it a straight forward process ? I have 1 TB drive so i should be able to fit a good amount of movies ! |

I assume that any of these would work for ripping DVDs so they would work on an ipod/ipad/iphone too?
I want to go buy a new destop PC and my plan is to get a pair of 1TB hard drives setup in Raid 1 on it. Then set it up as a media server to use airplay to send itunes video to our various iOS including apple TV. I just have not had the time to research how to make it work. Right now we run itunes off an older Dell Laptop but we have not been ripping DVDs as the hard drive just isn't large enough for that - it's 320 GB but videos eat memory big time so I was hoping to get a RAID protected desktop before we start ripping DVDs to the digital world so we can get them into iOS. |

Pick the device you want from a list, or manually select the desired resolution from a drop down list, click go.
