Check this out. Forwarded message from a friend. How many of you can identify with this? Sounds very familiar to me. Just passing it on, don't shoot the messenger. When I was growing up my mom had to switch from wearing skirts to pants so she had a pocket to put the wooden mixing spoon she used to beat us kids with. I was "drug" a lot. he he

Ah, the wooden spoon. I remember my brother getting one broken across his ass. The good ol' days. [:)]

Hell, nowadays if you "drag" your kid to the woodshed and someone sees, they will "drag" you into court. Being drugged can turn into a drag. edited to put "ged" on drug.

I also remember that when I got sent for a switch (for me of course) mine never seemed to be the one I got "switched" with. My Mom and Dad worked all the time and my Grandparents on my Dad's side raised me. Grandpa and Grandma administered most of the disipline on me. Then when Dad came home I'd get it again, that is if I had really messed up. I miss Grandpa, he taught me how to shoot straight and to always tell the truth, even if it hurt. AHHH, the Good Old Days.
