I'd like to post a question about a personal issue, but I'd rather not use my standard username to do it - the issue concerns my ex and our child, and
I believe that this username is known to my ex. I would like to create an additional user ID to post the question, but I don't want to get suspended or banned. I looked through the COC and the FAQs, but I didn't see anything about having more than one username. I am not intending to troll with the additional ID, or to break any of the forum rules in any way. Please let me know if it is OK for me to create the account. Thanks, -Warren- |

If you look hard enough, you'll find a number of arfcommers use 'troll accounts.' These are non-paying member accounts.
Does your ex have a paid (bronze or better) membership? If not, she cannot access the Members Only forums. (You'll need a paying account to do this, though.) |

I would be posting in a forum that is not members-only - I'm just trying to be extra careful. I had noticed other guys using troll accounts, but I wasn't inspired to use them as role models - I'm looking for advice, not drama or the ban hammer. I'll let this set for awhile - unless a mod tells me that a second account is verboten, then I'll go ahead. Thanks for the replies! -Warren- |
