I have a dirtbike for sale on CL.
I received an email asking if I would be around friday for the bike to be viewed. I replied yes and this is the response I received. Ok, sounds good. Can you send me the VIN #. I need to clear it with US customs by tomorrow to give me enough time, I would be bringing the bike to Canada.
Thanks, Colby I googled his name and it came back being from Saskatoon, SK which is a long way from central MN. Would there be any harm in sending the VIN? I don't see how it could be a scam, but who knows. |
| While I lived in Maine I sold a motorcycle to a guy from Canada. He said its worth the trip because motorcycles are cheaper here. He showed up with a trailer with several motorcycles on it, claimed he raced them and came to the U.S. and bought several at a time. He did not ask for a VIN beforehand though. |

I talked to a guy in MI that told me 4 wheelers are cheaper in Canada and they drove up there every 2 years or so to buy new ones. |
