this is a little short story that makes me proud.

i have a friend, a liberal, vegetarian girl that up until a week aor so ago was largely antigun.

about a week ago, she gave herself an epiphany.

she had a dream. in this dream, her entire family was murdered by a robber. she could have prevented the murders if only she had known how to use her father's pistol, which was nearby. she awoke from this dream shaken, crying, and scared.

i saw her yesterday. now she wants to go to the range, learn hoew to use guns, and get her carry permit...

the 2nd ammendment god works in mysterious ways...

This is obviously a good thing, but how can wimmin types decide things based upon things they dream?  Gimme a break.  My wife will be pissed for days because of something she DREAMED I did.  Drives me nuts.  Good luck, hopefully she will learn to kill/eat stuff, like a proper human.

If you take her, take it very easy on her and don't push. Let it come to her in time, don't want to scare her away from shooting. Start with a .38 or even a .22 to let her get a feel for it. Then bring out the 44 mag. LOL

Now Greg3, the best way is to chamber 5 .38's and 1 .357 and set the cylinder to hit the .357 last.  The result should be videotaped for future entertainment.  I did this to my wife.  She doesn't shoot with me much any more. I can't figure out why?

If we could get about a million soccer moms to have the same dream, the battle would be over.
