I reinstalled windows on my computer and now the speakers on my monitor don't work. I downloaded a sound driver for it but when I try to install it , it says error. any ideas? Its a hp pavilion vf52. Thanks |
| I lost the speaker on my HP Pavilion DV6000 about a month ago. I still get sound with headphones, but can't get anything through the laptop's speakers. I figure it's a mechanical problem rather than software. But, my warranty had just expired so I'm making do for the time being. |
What *exactly* does the error say? Most likely, you are trying to install the wrong driver for the sound hardware in your machine. -Troy |
