[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Computer help pls...

Old laptop died. XP machine. Bought a new one w windows 7. The MS office suite I had bought previously says" XP Suite". Can I load it on to the new machine running 7 or do I have to buy the whole fucking thing again?

Probably a dumb question but a member of "The Geek Squad" I am not.

You should be able to install it without any problems.

No problems installing it on win7. Used it for a long time on my win7 machine till upgrading to 2007. There are a lot of updates and at least one svc. pack you'll have to install, but it will work fine.
