My wifes computer is using Win98 SE and on some websites it is ok but on a lot of sites it will not show any graphics except the red x where the grapic is supposed to be. I went ot internet options and looked under multimedia and made sure the show pics box ix checked and still othing. If I right click and then click show pic it still does nothing. Thanks |

I tried to run the repair and it said it can not repair it. I tried to delete ie but it wont do it. i think i have java installed. but still it won't show all the images. I am so ready to use this thing for target practice. Any other ideas on how to fix this stupid thing? Thanks |
Run SFC (You will need the win 98 cd rom) If that does not work run "scanreg /fix" If that does not work run "scanreg /restore" - Use the Earliest date available If that didn't work back up your files to whatever media you have(CDR/another drive/Floppy) 1)Fdisk 2)format 3)reinstall os 4)reinstall drivers 5)reinstall apps Good luck. Running a 98 boxen these days is just begging to get spyware/virus/crap. Best Buy has emachines on for free/almost free after about $250 in rebates. |
