Ok, It used to be, when I click a link on this forum, it would open in a new window, now it takes me off site in the same window. This does not happen all the time, but most of the time. How can I get the link to open a new window. thanks...

Right-click on the link and chose "Open in New Window".

If this is not the solution you were looking for, check your browser settings. In INternet Explorer, under Tools, Advanced, or somesuch, there's a toggle switch "Open links in new window/Re-use existing window".

I am the worst at this. I've always got at least 9 or 10 windows open at a time. I hardly ever just click on a link, I open a new window. I'm a window hog and I can't help it.

Can't find anything to change in tools, guess I'll just right click for now, thanks KAR.

Just hold the shift key when you click on a link.  It will open in a new window.
