I'm looking for a gaming pc for my 10 year old, it needs to run most games smoothly, games like GTA/COD Minecraft and such, nothing spectacular but something nice. She wanted something that lit up green, Problem is I'm computer illiterate and could use some help. I'm looking to keep it around $500, I just need the tower.
I was looking at something like this but am afraid I'll overpay.TIA Cyberpower |

Well I would recommend building it yourself part by part but I'm not sure how comfortable you are with trying that. It's actually pretty simple and not only do you get exactly what you want in it but you can save a lot of money.

Well I would recommend building it yourself part by part but I'm not sure how comfortable you are with trying that. It's actually pretty simple and not only do you get exactly what you want in it but you can save a lot of money. If you can clean a gun you can build a PC. If you have played with Lego you can build a PC. If you do build it yourself (highly recommended) do not get a POS power supply. There are many things that you can get on the cheaper side however having a shitty PSU will drive you nuts when trying to problem solve, plus if you get a good one they will last over multiple builds for years down the road. Chances are you won't need anything above 600watt. Would this be a 1080P or 1440 build? (quad core intel i5 cpu and a nvidia gtx 1060 6GB) something like this: ($750 build) http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html#p5 |
