Just last night my computer mouse started behaving funny.  Every few seconds I lose the ability to click on most of the icons on the screen.  It only applies to some.  For instance, I can click on icons on the task bar at the bottom of the screen but nothing within Mozilla or Thunderbird.  When I brought the computer out of hibernation, I couldn't click on my user account button.  If I hit CTRL-ALT-DLT I can use the mouse normally for 5-10 seconds, and then it stops working again.  Any ideas?  I don't think it's a problem with the mouse, because the arrow moves around just fine no matter what, and the buttons seem to work.  Thanks.

Try plugging it into a different USB port, which causes a fresh copy of the driver to be installed.

Try these:
Update drivers for mouse.
Delete temp files using tools menu.
Restart computer.  (I notice computers I've used tend to get glitches if I use hibernate all the time.)
